Let’s Make Magic
It has always been my desire to create something extraordinary. As an admirer of glamour and fairytales, I couldn’t wait to combine my ideas and bring this beautiful concept to life. So when I teamed up with the talented Amanda Marie Gillen Photography to capture my woodland fairy, I knew it would be absolutely magical. I hope you enjoy these stunning photographs!
The Transformation
I was inspired by an elegant dance costume my Mom gave to me for any opportunity to have a fun shoot. I couldn’t be more excited for my sweet, drop dead gorgeous friend Magdalena to volunteer herself for this artistic experience. This babe sat through hours of makeup application, hair styling and costuming which was followed by hours of posing and frolicking around a public park dressed as a fairy. I found it amusing because Magdalena doesn’t particularly enjoy being the center of attention. How can you not notice this goddess?!?!
This look needed to be theatrical and over the top with bold makeup and fabulous accessories. Airbrush foundation by Temptu was used to make Magdalena’s skin look flawless. By blending bronzer and a wine colored blush I achieved a warm and heavy contour. After using a collection of shimmering golds and vivid wine tones to really make her eyes stand out, I completed the eye look with big luscious lashes! On her cheekbones, I used a gold metallic eyeshadow. I also discovered a really cool product by Mehron that forms metallic gold paint that I detailed under the eyes and incorporated fun body paint designs.
The beautiful flower crown anchored the adorable elf ears in place. Once the costume and wings were on, Magdalena was ready to fly! Isn’t she stunning? <3
Where Would You Find A Fairy?
Amanda and I discussed ideas and decided that Greenfield Park & Gardens would be the perfect setting to shoot our enchanted fairy. This park has dense greenery, flourishing gardens, beautiful ponds, a small wooden bridge and even a big gorgeous fountain. The hours flew by after setting our fairy in all the locations necessary to capture these epic shots.

A Little Whimsical Here And There
When I think of a woodland fairy, I assume she would have delightful conversations with blue birds, bask in the warm sun and lounge by a secluded fountain. Magdalena played the part effortlessly.
A Fairy With An Attitude
As angelic and whimsical as this fairy might look, she likes to have fun! Our sassy fairy splashed around, made a mess of biodegradable magic, tantalized the camera and even had the energy to to witness the sunset. It was quite an adventure.

I am so thankful for Amanda and her talents contributing so much to this styled shoot. I was extremely excited to feature these beautiful photos. I want to thank Magdalena for being an incredible model and such a beautiful woman. She portrayed my fairy like a dream. I loved working with these girls and will cherish the memory of creating beautiful magic forever.
